Casey Kellermann

I’ll be honest, before moving to Charleston in January 2010, I spent my time downhill skiing in the Rocky Mountains, vacationing in Scottsdale, Arizona, and religiously rooting for my home town Cleveland sports teams. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio for the first 18 years of my life, and my father played 9 seasons in the NFL with the Browns, Bengals and Bills. My mother also worked for the Cavaliers (NBA) for the past 25 years, so say what you will about Cleveland sports, but I’ll humbly admit that growing up in a sports family has taught me valuable life lessons (hard work, dedication, loyalty, character, competitiveness, etc.) that would be tough to learn elsewhere. I will also openly admit that having 2 great parents as role models have helped me thus far in raising 3 wonderful children. And I would be remiss in not mentioning the MVP (Most Valuable Person) in my life, my beautiful wife Alison. She puts up with my unconventional real estate hours, and she fully supports me in everything I do. Without her selfless personality, and unconditional love, I would never be where I am today.

How I ended up in Charleston…

It began as a vacation – a theme you hear over and over from “transplant” Charlestonians – in October 2009, when my family spent a week at Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms. Truthfully, this coastal city had me at its gorgeous beaches, but once we experienced the historic district of the peninsula and got a peek at the idyllic Lowcountry life on Daniel Island, we were irreversibly charmed. Three months later my wife and I packed up our three children and our lives in Breckenridge Colorado and came home to Daniel Island, SC. Today, we happily wear short sleeves in February and spend our hot and humid summer days at the ocean or community pool on Daniel Island.

Experience…

I’ve been a licensed real estate broker (not to be confused with an agent) for 18+ years. Ten of those years were in Breckenridge, Colorado and the past seven (7) years have been in Charleston. I have successfully closed over $175,000,000 in sales throughout my career, while navigating over 230 closed transactions. If you are looking to partner with someone that has a proven track record of success, and someone that puts “customer service” first, then I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about anything and everything related to Charleston, SC real estate!

And now that you know a little bit more about me, let me be the first to say…
